Food, Fun, & Fellowship in the Heart of Mt. Airy!

Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday, May 2nd for a great day of fun for the whole family! A good time was had by all as people enjoyed delicious food, live entertainment, great shopping, kids games, and much more!

Mt. Airy Day went green...with valet bike parking that was available in front of the Sacred Heart Manor on Germantown Ave!                              

There were also recycling receptacles throughout the event site.

Live Performances & The Best Music in Philly

People came and danced on the grass! Entertainment was provided by two great bands, a DJ, the Henry School Choir, the Dignity Housing Youth Drumline, and MALT belly dancers! Last, but not least, Germantown Radio was broadcasting from the Cliveden side of the event.

Mt. Airy Day featured many delicious food options to choose from -- no matter what you were in the mood to eat! 

On- site, shoppers found vendors aplenty selling everything from food to clothing to homegoods to art to crafts to jewelry to plants to... just about everything! 

MAD KidZone

Children enjoyed pony rides, games, a moon bounce, giant slide, obstacle course, face painting, arts & crafts, and much more  in the MAD KidZone. Zoo on Wheels was also on hand to entertain children and adults alike with live animals.

The 39th Annual Mt. Airy Day was held on May 2, 2009 from 11AM to 5PM on the grounds of Cliveden of the National Trust at 6400 Germantown Avenue, Phila., PA 19119. 

 

Mt. Airy Day 2009 is presented by East Mt. Airy Neighbors and West Mt. Airy Neighbors.
